It may not be a lot for some, but for me...!!
Hi, I'm new to the MSE website and have been reading through the web site. I have always considered myself to be "bad" at handling my money and have realised it's time to get better at it. I downloaded the Money Diet Monthly Calorie Counter and I've included it below. Recently I tried to change credit cards to a 0% deal…

Revelation Not For The Faint Hearted Its An Epic
Tonight I experienced a revelation it suddenly occurred to me that to recognise why I have acquired so much debt in such a short time I need to look back, to purge myself and to lose my “self-obsession” because that is what I believe is ruining me. As a cathartic exercise I’m reflecting on my life till now an exercise of…

We haven't been out since June last year and didn't buy each other any pressies for birthday, xmas, valentines etc. so we felt that we could let ourselves have this one treat. The…

The Over 50K debt Club - Join Here!!
I'm not meaning to sound glib about my debts, in fact the reason I have started this thread is because I am still scared (despite all the great support on here). When I read about other people's experiences I do sympathise, and I understand completely that debt is a relative thing - being £10K in debt is very worrying if…
