If so, Alliance & Leicester, Nationwide and Halifax are each offering £100 to open a bank account. Spotted this on the MSE current account thread. I am going to try a couple of them and use money towards my debt.

you do know the small print of these 'offers' most require a certain 'amount' of cash payed in every month or your salary, this will be a lot of jigging on your part with your finances0

Halifax require 2 payments of £1,000, can be the same one in and out. Nationwide need you to move 1 standing order, A&L need 2 deposits of £500 and you can close the account. If you look at each of the threads, it will also explain the requirements and potential pitfalls. Looks easy cash for Me, my OH and my DS0

some of the offers have ended - ie Halifax ended on the 16th March0
