Tax on Children's savings accounts
All, As children usually don't use up all of their tax allowance I assume that they're not taxed on interest accrued from banks account held in their name. Is that correct? I can use a bank account in my child's name to avoid paying tax on the interest? Thx,D

Isle of Jersey.
Is everything really Tax Free out there? I.E. I noticed Tesco Jersey was cheaper than normal Tesco Extra and read into it a bit more. Is it really that simple?! Obviously shipping something out of the UK means it's tax free - i.e. if I shipped a mobile phone from the supplier direct to Jersey, VAT off?!
