Can use Credit Club but can't use Experian directly
Hello For some reason, I can use Credit Club and see my Experian score, but when I signed up for Experian directly it refuses to even let me join and says I do not have enough information on file (something to that effect). I cannot dispute it or do anything about it... Why is this, or why could this be? As first time…

Hi all My credit score is not great so my friend suggested I use the app which helps to build your credit back up again. Have any of you used it before and would recommend it? BA data breach compensation claim.
Apologies to all if this subject has already been talked to death, but I only recently became aware of the BA data breach compensation lawsuit which some firms seem to offer. I am trying to make up my mind whether it is worth and fair to actually pursue this. Is anyone else claiming compensation and what is your story. Do…

'Sadly, it’s likely you’ve little free cash, so lenders probably think you can’t afford to borrow much more'.So the Credit File states for loans and credit cards, both show as V Weak. Impact of maxing credit card out to save?
Between all of my credit cards, my credit limit is just around £60,000 between five cards. My highest credit limit is with Barclaycard at £17,000 with £0 balance, and I currently have an offer of a money transfer with 0% for 18 months with no fee. And I'm debating taking £15,000 and saving this between various savings…

Missed payment marker straight to Stage 6 - is this allowed?
Hi,My partner has a Stage 6 missed payment marker on her credit file from a utility company. However there are no 1,2,3,4 or 5 markers, just straight from green "up to date" ticks, to a 6 month marker. I'm confused about how an account can go from being up to date to 6 months late within a month, is this allowed?

Default removal query
Hello, I am looking into the feasibility of getting a default removed, as it appears to be the only issue blocking me from obtaining a mortgage (according to my advisor). The default was on a private loan w/Nationwide (approx. £5,000) in Aug 2017. It was subsequently paid in full in Feb 2019. What was curious to me at the…

How much compensation should I allow for my time in a complaint
Almost two years ago, my high street bank made a mistake which resulted in multiple markers on my credit rating. Because of my unusual circumstance at the time, this cost me a tremendous amount of money. The bank initially refused to take responsibility, but after a LOT of phone calls and eventually an email to chief…

How much impact does opening a joint account have?
My partner and I really need to open a joint account but I suggested doing a credit check first because my score is low and I didn’t want to negatively impact his by being associated... However, turns out his is lower. I’ve been steadily building mine for the last year or so and got it up to 275 and his is currently at 180…

Default to Stage 4 Delinquent
Hi Everyone, I have a dispute with Talk Talk for a default they have given me. After a battle they have apparently removed the default status and now I have something called a delinquent stage 4? Surely they can't keep records after 6 years? My IVA started in 2008 which was when their credit card was included. Under data laws are they…
