Missed payments reported on credit file question

Hi, got a question regarding missed payments on my credit file, defaulted on a loan around Feb last year, debt was passed to debt collector and I arranged repayment plan for small amount each month, have just noticed the original lender has still been reporting missed payments on my credit file after I started making payments for this repayment plan to the debt collector, I haven't missed any of the repayment plan payment dates, is this correct for the original lender to still be reporting missed payments? Should note the amount I pay for the monthly repayment plan is about 10% of what my monthly payments would've been to the lender as per the contract, does this make a difference? Is that why it's still being reported as a missed payment each month? Can I have these missed payments removed?

Yes, it's correct as you're not making any of the contractual payments. You can't have them removed, but the account will drop off 6 years from the default.1
