Halifax cc balance transfer deal didn't work
Hello, just wanted to let everyone know that I used MSE to tell me the best cc balance transfer offer in February 2020 but which proved to be incorrect. The offer charged 3% upfront and was supposed to refund 2.5% within 90 days of the initial amount transferred. I went via the MSE website offer link, which took me to…

Balance Transfer or Not
Ive worked really hard over the past 8 months at reducing my credit card debt down from near 7000 to just over 3000. We have just bought a house and the excess funds that i would be using to pay off my credit card will probably be going into getting stuff done with the house over the next 12 months, so i'll be going back…

Hello, I'm going to write a post with specifics of the problem in another more suitable forum, but I just have a quick question about s75. I paid £4k for a replacement used engine (plus associated new parts + labour) to be fitted to a car I am restoring with a small specialist, there were some errors in the initial install…

Barclaycard - Refused Payment Extension Holiday
First time poster. I've been made redundant and asked Barclaycard to extend my payment holiday. They've refused my request and told me to contact Step Change the debt charity. I think I'm being treated unfairly because it's an interest free loan that expires in April 2021, and I've never missed a payment in over 20 years.…

can someone check my maths please?
I will have £1700 outstanding balance when my 0% BT ends. The interest rate on the card will be 21.93% I will have the £1700 paid off in 3 months. Am I right in thinking that the interest I would pay would be around £20, so it is cheaper to not transfer the remaining balance unless I can get a fee free or 1% BT deal? Thanks
