£500 balance credit card from 2004 - £6720 paid over 16 yrs and they still want more - what to do?
Hi there, I opened a Barclaycard account on 2004 with a £500 limit. I used the limit on one purchase in 2004 and set up £35 monthly minimum payments on it. I also bank with Barclays, so presumed they would update my Barclaycard address when I updated with Barclays. They didn't, I stopped receiving statements when I moved…

Buy an item larger than your credit card limit.
I am booking a holiday for a large group in the future. The holiday is likely to be about twice my credit card limit. I can pay in installments. My question is, if a pay for a holiday of e.g. £6000 on a card with a £3000 limit by paying in 2 installments, would the card issuer still have liability for the total amount of…

Credit card rejection despite 80% likelihood of acceptance
Hi, I just applied for a Barclaycard credit card and was rejected. I did an Experian credit check which shows I have a good credit score and suggested this credit card. I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about why I might have been rejected? This is my first credit card and I have no debt. I am just a bit…
