Halifax cc balance transfer deal didn't work

Hello,
just wanted to let everyone know that I used MSE to tell me the best cc balance transfer offer in February 2020 but which proved to be incorrect. The offer charged 3% upfront and was supposed to refund 2.5% within 90 days of the initial amount transferred.
I went via the MSE website offer link, which took me to Halifax and all seemed to work.
Transfer went through fine but there was no refund after 90 days and Halifax claiming to know nothing of the MSE offer.
Did anyone manage to get this offer to work?
Poor show MSE.

Find a screen shot of the offer and send it to Halifax.
It could be the rep you spoke to had no idea on the offer, given it will have been something Halifax marketing team will have dealt with. Odds on the message never got passed down the line to call center staff, or you got someone new who had never heard of it. Remember this was over 6 months ago and offers can change several times a month.
Sadly offer has nothing to do with MSE. They just got the referral fee for you using the link 😜Life in the slow lane0
