I have been with MBNA Virgin for 3.5 years, have both black and white card. In this time over £100k was cleared and have incurred less than £150 interest. Since MBNA is going to discontinue, I applied for the new Virgin Reward card, so I could keep racking up airmiles on my Virgin Atlantic account. Unfortunately it has…

I recently opened a Credit card with Virgin money to carry out a balance transfer from a credit card that was nearing the end of its 0% period. Barclaycard "Credit Balance Refund"
I had a 14p credit balance left on a Barclaycard. They kept writing to me about it, but I couldn't figure out how to withdraw or transfer it and I couldn't figure out how to spend money on the card in such a way that I could restore the balance to zero, because all payments on the card are made by Direct Debit. This month…

Question regarding compound interest
Hello, Could someone please explain how compound interest on a credit card works please? I have always understood that the interest on the balance is calculated daily and then is capitalised (paid onto balance) on your statement date. It is at this point that the interest starts compounding as you are then accruing…

Switching credit limit between cards
I'm sure the answer is no, but does anyone know if this is possible? I have a credit card with HSBC with a 4K limit, and another one with aqua with only 1200 limit. The aqua one does not charge for use abroad so I would love to reduce the limit on HSBC and 'move' it on the other. Is this cloud cuckooland thinking? Cheers!

A question regarding Paypal Credit and how it works.
Tried to ask Paypal about this, and met with silence essentially, but I was wondering, when people sign up and get accepted for Paypal credit does it mean that all purchases by vendors are then split over monthly payments?
