Switching credit limit between cards

I'm sure the answer is no, but does anyone know if this is possible? I have a credit card with HSBC with a 4K limit, and another one with aqua with only 1200 limit. The aqua one does not charge for use abroad so I would love to reduce the limit on HSBC and 'move' it on the other. Is this cloud cuckooland thinking? Cheers!

Unfortunately not as your cards are with different credit providers.

If they were with the same provider, some of them allow credit line re-allocation between cards.

You could ask aqua to put your credit limit up (they may not agreed!).
And, separately, ask HSBC to lower yours.

I imagine the interest rate on aqua is higher than hsbc tho?
