barclaycard freedom rewards
Does MSE have exclusive terms as a referrer on CCs? I ask because on here the Barclaycard freedom rewards card has the 0% purchases period advertised as 25 month but on the barclaycard website it is only 12 months, the same as the balance transfer period.

How long does No Fee BT last with Santander Credit Card?
This seems unusual but does the Santander Credit Card really allow balance transfers with no fee for the entire 15 months duration? This is obviously far greater than the usual 90 day limit that credit card companies provide? Is this right? http://www.santander.co.uk/uk/credit-cards/santander-credit-card

AMEX Membership Rewards referral code
Hi all, I'm taking out an AMEX Gold chargecard. Am I right in thinking that existing cardholders have referral codes which net a signup bonus which is mutually beneficial for the new and existing cardholders? Does this prevent you from getting the 20,000 initial spending bonus? And can the code be used online or is it for…

Success with renegotiating terms of credit card?
Evening all. I am just after some anecdotes about anyone who has tried, succesfully, to renegotiate offers on their credit cards. I keep getting notifications on my Halifax credit card that the balance is being upped which is actually quite useful, because it isn't particularly utilised. I do have a balance on a different…

Beware of foreign outlets selecting to pay in £ rather than the local currency
I always use one of the credit cards that don’t charge a foreign exchange fee, but am fed up with being stung by outlets (from shops/restaurants and even Alicante Airport duty free). Some pin machines give you the option to pay in Euros or have it exchanged to pounds by the vendors bank (at a fee!). I know to always select…

Balance Transfer
Hi all, I have a 0% deal coming to an end with Barclaycard soon and want to transfer the remaining balance (£950) to my Nationwide card in order to pay a lower rate on the remaining balance (the Barclaycard is 34% APR). I'm aware it would have been more useful to pay off the balance before the 0% deal ended but…

AMEX cashback or rewards
Hi all, I've had the AMEX Platinum Cashback credit card (the one with the fee, not the, "Everyday" version) for a few years. I spend £12,000 - £14,000 per year on it and make the most of the cashback. I'm wondering if it's worth switching to the Green or Gold charge cards. Both offer Membership Rewards. I do not travel…

NatWest CC paid in full, still charged interest
I've used my NatWest credit card for years as my main way to spend, before paying it off in full at the end of the month. This works for me as I have quite a lot of expenses for work (flights, etc) and this allows me to claim money back before having to pay for it via the credit card bill. More recently, I've sometimes not…

Help understanding interest
Hey, I made a transfer to bank of £2000 from my credit card which is interest free until dec 2016 and continued using my card for some expenses and have paid expenses off in full every month plus a little bit extra to wear down the £2000 slowly.
