Does CC Limit Increase means better Credit Rating ?
Hi, Sorry if this was already asked. My credit card limit is £5K and it is way above what I ll ever spend on it - £50 to £100 a month, paid every month. Would it help my credit rating if I increase the limit (if I am eligible, I think I am), knowing that I won't change my spending habits ? Nuriel

Need some advice on credit cards
Hi all! I need some advice regarding which credit card to apply for. I've just generated a credit score upon myself through equifax to find it's rated as fair and my report states this is because I have been in arrears for two months in 2010. Everything else on my record is squeaky clean and all either settled accounts or…

Hi Guys, I've been following advice on here (you know who you are guys, thank you :) ) and have dramatically reduced my balances from over £19k to about £7k in this last year. This will drop to around £3500 by the weekend once a PPI cheque clears. I've been going through my Experian file and my new ''score'' is now 469.…

Cut off from Creation Financial Customer Services
Just phoned Flybe card services, put all my details in via phone keypad to retrieve my account, then got put through to an advisor, who merely giggled and put the phone down. This kind of stuff is prevalent at every call centre I reckon, certainly the ones I've worked at in the past anyway. Just to be nasty I decided that…

0% on purchases for 16 months?!
Hi guys, Im thinking of getting a 0% on purchases credit card for the first 16 months and am wondering what the hidden extras are. If I understand correctly, If you spend £500 in the first month and pay it back in £50 installments over say 10 months, the debt is settled because I'm still in the interest free 16 month…

How come Lloyds TSB hold on to my money when I pay on line?
I bank with Lloyds TSB and also have a Lloyds TSB Credit card that I pay in full every month. I do this by paying from my current account, on-line, using so-called "Faster Payments". Only it isn't. Lloyds TSB take FIVE DAYS to pay my Credit card account but they take the money from my current account instantly! Meanwhile I…

Can credit rating be negatively affected by 'reducing' credit limit on existing card?
A little while ago I applied for a new credit card (with the intention of performing a balance transfer) which was turned down. Reason given was that I had too much available Credit. Probably true as I had 4 credit cards with balances on them. Am now in the process of rationalising my cards - have just closed one that had…

Is Noddle down?
I haven't used Noddle for a while, but just tried connecting to the site and it appears to be unavailable. Is this common? (Perhaps for maintenance or something - though silly time to perform maintenance, at 1.25pm on a weekday) Or is there some issue with Noddle?

Creation Finance Overzealous Maybe?
I recently switched banks and have ended up with a late payment mark on my experian & equifax files. What I did was a genuine mistake.. I checked through my old bank account and noted that all my direct debits had been paid, Creation being the last. Having noted the DB had gone out that day I cancelled it. A week or so…
