Just bought something off Very
As it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else, but it's opened up a credit account (which I knew before I bought it) anyway, I want to pay it off and cancel it. Should I leave it a couple of months and then cancel it, or just pay it off and close it right now. would either look bad on a creditreport?

Apologies for posting this twice! I've been 'pre-approved' for an 'All in One' credit card by Halifax (I recently moved my current account to them), but I'm not sure if I should take it and what impact it will have on my credit rating. I have two store cards with around £100 on each, and have been paying the minimum by dd…

Transferring Balances and Monthly Payment Workings
I'm looking to transfer some debt, but not the full amounts outstanding, from two credit cards onto two different ones to take advantage of cheaper rates - 20.95% APR is silly interest. What I'm wondering is if I am going to end up paying four lots of big monthly payments instead of two in the month I do it - do the card…
