MBNA Balance Transfer
I've just been accepted for an MBNA 16 month balance transfer card, when I applied I only transferred part of my balance from my old card as I'd mis-read the statement. Does anyone know if I'm able to transfer another balance from my existing card whilst retaining the 16 month 0% offer?

After 6 months of being an HSBC bank account customer I have just been accepted for the HSBC credit card and have some questions about it for other HSBC credit card holders. Newbie question
Hi guys, just asking a quick question over here in relation to my post in another section. My Fiance and myself owe about £16,000 owing on an Asda card and a consolidation loan to Barclays. Why am I getting charged double the "typical" APR?
Hi guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with MBNA at the moment. I don't really use my credit card very often - and when I do it tends to be for large purchases that I then pay off very quickly - usually immediately or over 2 months max. I happened to notice recently though that the current APR I'm getting charged is…

Credit ratings and savings
Hi there, Can anyone tell me - does the amount of savings you have get taken into account when your credit score is calculated? For example, if I had £30,000 worth of debt (I don't) and 100,000 in cash in an ISA (again I don't), would the credit reference agencies understand that I actually have no net debt? Or would they…

Card fraud
I have been shopping online since 1997 without any problems at all until the last 4 months. The problem began with 7 fraudulent transactions appearing on the card I use for all purchases. It was blocked and reissued so no real drama. During the time I couldn't use it I had to use my debit card for online shopping a few…

Halifax Clarity cc withdrawing cash abroad question!
Hi everyone, I've just received my first credit card - a Halifax Clarity. The main reason I got it was for the free cash withdrawal abroad perk, as I am spending a couple of months in Asia from next week. As I've never had a cc I'm a little confused! If I'm abroad in say Vietnam, and use a bank ATM to withdraw £200…
