Hubby has aquacard, got it a year ago with limit of £700, this was increased to £1100 after a few months. He pays it off each month and last payment was 8th August. Paying off credit card with a debit card
Have an Argos Mastercard. Credit limit £2,000. Bill dated 29/9/09 for £1,040. Paid the full balance by Debit Card (had to do it in two transactions for some daft reason!) on 8/10/09 and 9/10/09. Virgin card limit reduced
Just opened letter saying my Virgin Limit has been reduced from £4100 to £3400 (£160 above current balance). Not an issue, as I'm still within my limit, and paying it off.....slowly :o I'm guessing a reduction in limit will show on the CRA files, but does it have a negative effect on your perceived credit worthiness?…
