According to an item in the Birmingham Post ('Computer glitch hits credit-card updates at Lloyds TSB', Oct 1st 2009) it appears that due to problems with a new computer system Lloyds has been unable to update many of it's credit card customer's credit records for the last three months.
"As a result, many customers who paid off debts dating back several months are still on record as owing cash on their credit card. It is believed the numbers affected could total in the thousands."
