Going into 'credit' with MBNA
Hi, I am new to this forum and have a question that may appear silly. I have no outstanding debt on my credit card and clear the bill every month. What is a Credit card companies obligation to fraud?
Are there rules set out by a banking code? If an amount is in dispute why do they continue to charge interest?(which, speaking to other people who have had there card used fraudulantly, creates further problems down the line, residual/trailing interest) Transfer it to another card? A set time is should be resolved?

First Direct have come up with what I think is a new condition for a card with 0% on purchases for 12 months and 5.9% BTs for 60 months: with their Gold Card you have to make a balance transfer of at least £100 to get these rates. I am very wary of using a card for both BT and 0% purchases, because usually it will manage…
