in Credit cards
Hi,
I've had a credit card with the Halifax for years, but never use it and it has no balance on it, and they've sent me a letter saying they will shut the account due to inactivity.
I'm not bothered, in fact it saves me the hassle of cancelling it, but I'm not sure if this will look unusual on my credit rating.
So which is best, to cancel the card, or let the bank shut the account?
Miles.
