Credit limit on Sainsbury card
After using this card for over 8 years, I've just had my credit limit cut by nearly 75%. This was without warning and the information took 5 days to reach me. I am sure that this is more to do with HBOS's credit rating than mine! (Judging from the correspondence address, I'm sure it's HBOS that runs Sainsbury's Bank.) I've…

Leaving Credit/Debit Cards Behind The Bar?
Join the boycott of bars and restaurants that ask you to leave your card behind the bar. Would you leave your card in the hands of a complete stranger? I doubt it. However, many bars and restaurants ask and expect you to do just that. With ever increasing card cloning and fraud, banks and card companies are constantly…

What's so bad about "Rate for Risk"?
Hello, I've heard people on this forum (and Martin himself) say that they think "Rate for risk" should be illegal. That, if I'm not mistaken is where you apply for one card but get offered another. My question is, why is this so bad? I can clearly see why it's bad for stoozers, but for the general public, if you apply for…
