Hi can anyone help,

Had a credit card with lots of late payment charges, now the bank has passed it over to debt collectors. Is it possible to claim the bank charges back? Or is it too late??

Thanks for the help

Darren

Did you actually pay late on all the occasions that they charged you?

They have Payment Protection Insurance for those types of situations, obviously you can't predict what will happen in the future but its not as though the service isn't there.

How much was each individual late payment charge? If it's £12 or less then I wouldn't bother for this reason....
Having investigated credit card charges the OFT said, in plain language, that it would not launch a specific investigation on any card companies with charges higher than £12.
