House Of Fraser
Hi - this is my first post in the forum so sorry if it's in the wrong place - i bought a gilet online from House Of Fraser for £59.95 but when it arrived it had a lower price tag of £39.95 attached. They won't refund the difference. I feel disadvantaged as an online customer - if I'd bought it in the shop I would have paid…

Sports Direct nightmare
Very recently, amongst a large order of sportswear I purchased 2 children's size 9-10 t-shirts online for my nieces. The Barbie tshirt was as I ordered but the My Little Pony one was not the one I ordered online. Different design, colour & fit. I returned by paid post and wrote on the exchange form the specific one I…

Dress - First time in wash, colour has run. Return?
Purchased a black dress with light coloured flower pattern. I always wash new clothes before wearing. I washed on a hand wash (dress says 40) and the black has made all the flowers a grubby grey. It looks awful and nothing like the original pattern. Can I return it for a refund? Thanks

I rely on this type of thing to wake me up as I'm deaf I have…

Are virtual phone numbers used to scam?
Partner recently googled for local tv repairers and called a 'local' area number. Advised there was a £99 call out fee and any repairs would be deducted from the call out fee. Chap turns up to pick up tv only to find he is taking it down to London (we are in midlands). He had come from another job about 20 miles away so…

Am I entitled to a refund?
A week ago I bought a pair of boots from Matalan. I wore them around the house and decided they were good enough so cut the price tag and the cord holding them together. Today I wore them out for the first time, around a shopping centre. After about an hour the front of the boot was rubbing so much I have red marks just…

Sale of Goods Act, Tesco, Reasonable?
Is it reasonable for a 260 quid dishwasher to fail after 22 months used every couple of days? Tesco claim sale of goods act is nothing to do with them and there is a one year manufacturers warranty and then hard luck. Has anyone found a good route to make Tesco direct meet their obligations under the act?

Deposits returned via "credit" for services?
Hi all, I'm looking for advice. I bought some tickets for a paint ball trip for a sizeable group of 70. I tried to book the date later on and they asked for a £700 deposit which I was shocked by but could understand. However, when I asked about this deposit, they said it wouldn't be returned to me but instead I would have…

Section 75 claim or not on Sony tv.
Hi, In November 2015, I bought a Sony Android tv, from Richer Sounds, (chose Richer Sounds as they offer a 6 year warranty). The TV was purchased in full with credit card and bought in store. Since having the TV it seemed to have a fault, which would result in it being unresponsive to remote or button pressing on TV unit,…

Rights under FairFX
Hi all, first post for me. Was just wondering what rights I have - basically we went into the airport lounge at Barcelona last Sunday. I paid on my FairFX travel card €75.50 for 3 of us. Once we got in there there was no food (only a handfull of crisps), it was oversubscribed so had very little seating and also there was a…
