WTC help 16hrs, 20hrs or 30hrs
Hi, I have recently become a single parent and have been offered a job. Basically, I am trying to work out what would be the best option as far as wtc is concerned. Would I be better off working 16, 20 or 30 hours. I have used the benefits calculator but I think I am confusing myself. Many thanks.

What are the new rules regarding additional state pension? As far as I understand the new state pension of £148 is due to come into effect in 2016, my wife gets additional state pension already because she made extra contributions. Will she still get extra when it comes into force or is £148 the maximum she'll get?
