WTC help 16hrs, 20hrs or 30hrs

Hi, I have recently become a single parent and have been offered a job. Basically, I am trying to work out what would be the best option as far as wtc is concerned. Would I be better off working 16, 20 or 30 hours. I have used the benefits calculator but I think I am confusing myself.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

WTC depends on a lot of things.
Are you disabled and get DLA/PIP?
Do you have any dependent children?
Do you have a partner?
Are you over 25?
Those are the main ones to whether you will be eligible at all - you'd need to run the scenarios through a calculator with the various hours.0 -
Thank you.
I have 2 kids. Rate of pay is £6.50 p/h. Non of us have any disabilities.0 -
Thank you so much. Mind got in such a muddle. I really appreciate your help.0

Model the 3 scenarios in the Turn2us online benefit calculator.
Don't forget to take into account other expenses such as travel to work, any extra child care costs and so forth that the benefit calculator will not factor in but you must also consider. Think about expenses, too, not just benefit/employment income.0
