Hi All I am currently working 25 hours a week i & my husband is self employed. We currently get tax credits/working tax credits. Anyway, does anyone know what would happen to our credits if I was to stop working and become a full time student? We have 2 children Many thanks MrsMcnab

I received 2 letters at the weekend. 1 letter asking to pay back an overpayment for tax credit period ending 05.04.12 and the other letter for over payment for period ending 05.04.11. I work part time (8hrs a week). I have had a long standing health condition which is getting worse. My GP said that she would help me to give up work and that I could claim a benefit which would probably equal the wage that I get. What benefit would that be? Is it dependant on savings?

My hubby earns £12,500.00 My job will only run until October this year so I will only earn £6,500 this tax year. We have one child.
