Time for a fresh start...
I'm about to go BR, spent the last 18 months battling with debt and basically making it worse and worse! Now owe about £95k. Need as much advice as possible about SOA's and the actual process of BR so hoping to get most of that from here and MSE. :)

SOA and store cards
I am just doing my SOA and I am not sure where to list store cards, under 'list of unsecured creditors' or 'bank accounts and credit cards'? So far I have listed all other bank cards I have in 'bank and credit cards' and not in 'list of unsecured creditors'. Hope it is ok.

i went bankrupt in july 2005 iwas discharged april 2006. my question is i am going to change my name back to my maiden name do i have to tell the OR?? or anyone? i know the bankrupcy and all accociated with it comes with me.. iam not changing my name to get away from that just ex husbands name..:confused:

What bank account to have when going BR
And when should you open it, i.e. before going BR or after, and if after how long after? Now I know about the Co-Op cashminder account, a lot of people on MSE seem to favour that one, any particular reason for this? what other accounts can you have if you are BR and what are the pros and cons??
