Shala - thanks for the chart, and congratulations to Moneysaverme on being SOTW! :T

Greentiger - it was me who raved about the Cauliflower & Horseradish soup (:o sorry!). To warn you against my recommendations in future, I feel I should also own up that courgettes are definitely in my top 3 favourite veg(!), although in my defence my other two would be sprouts ;) and leeks... Not sure if that makes me more credible or not?!:rotfl:

My recommendation for courgettes is slicing them into 1cm rings and frying them in fry light (or griddling them on a griddle pan) until they are a bit brown - sounds gross but tastes delicious!! :D

Stuck to plan yesterday, and today's plan was as follows:

B: Cheese omelette with mushrooms and tomato
L: Cauliflower & Horseradish soup (and I called into Aldi on the way home to buy another huge cauli for 45p!!:p)
D: Jacket potato with baked beans and salad

All was going well until I had a collision with a packet of mini eggs this afternoon... Oops! :(

Just a thought, but my feeling is that SW is much less about processed foods than WW. In the past when I did WW (unsuccessfully, obviously..;)), my cupboards were full of WW products - bread, cakes, meals, yoghurts, crisps...the list goes on. And when I looked at the ingredients (without my WW-crazy head on!), they were packed full of additives and "rubbish"...

    Evening everyone!
I've been looking back at some of the things posted- lot of West Yorks peeps here! I'm in Leeds on Friday until Saturday afternoon- I have a tutorial at Leeds Beckett Uni on Saturday morning. Off to watch the Rhinos play Friday night- I'm a union gal but a former friend got me into watching them. Love Leeds- I used to spend a lot of time there.
It is completely possible to do SW on processed foods- I lost 6 stone on microwave friendly foods :D
Back on plan today- 6.5 weeks until awards night and at the rate I was going I wouldn't fit into my dress so I've decided I need to be good again!
B: HEXB 2 x Weetabix Additions Raisin and Coconut, Petit Filous Natural Fromage Frais (1/4 of a pot) (1.5 syns) melon and strawberries, decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: 3 SW pork and leek sausages, Asda Growers Selection wedges (1 syn for oil spray) with pepper, salt and vinegar, mixed salad, Co-op Cranberry and Raspberry drink
T: Broccoli rice, SW ready meal Thai Green Curry, melon chunks, decaf tea with HEXA
S: SW houmous, 4 Crackerbreads (4 syns) Apple, pear. Pint of water
    Syns: 6.5
Body magic: half hour brisk walk
The Co-op Cranberry and Raspberry Drink is fab- and totally free! It's also helpful for me as I suffer chronic water infections and I've been advised to drink cranberry but didn't want to syn it. The plain cranberry is free too.
    Night all xx

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
    Lunch - something with cauliflower
Dinner - sausage, potato salad and salad
Snacks - fruit and cereal bars

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - cereal bars

Daughters birthday today so no work, but also nothing too unhealthy. Dinner is her choice except she is having pita bread instead of potato salad.
    Celebrating properly this weekend.

Weigh in this week and its a maintain

so new week and I'm hopeful I can make a dent on the scales next week.

I don't know if its been mentioned on here before? but I've ordered myself a 12 week planner (and a desktop planner) from Fox and Moon which I'm hopeful will arrive today. I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment and also not feeling the love generally with work and the like so something different might motivate me.

My menu today is along the lines of one piece of nature valley bar oats and honey (4.5 syns) and a muller corner blackberry & raspberry (also syns - think 4.5 - need to check) then salad for lunch and lamb shank (3 syns) and stir fry veg for tea. HEB is the hi fi mint bar (x2). Milk for HEA.

I hope everyone has a good day x not had a change to catch up with all posts yet so hugs to all x
