Just a bit of Friday fun.
The word 'moist' makes my skin crawl
I hate hate hate hate the phrase 'touch base' and also 'date night'
And 'bae' - I mean, what is that?
Anyone else? :rotfl:

'I'm offended by that' or 'I find that offensive'
- So what? Carry on being offended then.0 -

Pretty much everything that comes out of the mouths of the school kids who get on my bus every morning
Half of it is the word like with random other words thrown in!
Do you know what I mean like, like I can't like even like take it, it's like so annoying!! :mad:First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
'Moist' is a classic, it's a word that should only ever be used in reference to chocolate cake and is gross in any other context.
'Mummy' annoys me a bit too, not when used by kids but when used by adult women e.g. 'Yummy mummies' or 'I love being a mummy' Why not just say parent? I don't know why, I just find it a bit icky.0 -
To be honest....
To be fair....
Aren't you NORMALLY honest/fair?
My husband is always starting sentences with "So.." which also annoys me.0 -
'totes adorbs'
'No offence but...' what you actually mean is 'I'm being a bit offensive but it's now your fault if you get upset'If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

My husband telling me 'You're taking it personally' Well, of course I am, it's aimed at me not Mrs Smith down the street. I flippin hate that phrase.
'bae' stands for 'before anything/anyone else'. I first came across it on some photos my DD was tagged in with her drama friends and captioned. I thought it fitted, so I don't mind it used in that context. If I'd come across it in any other way, I'm sure it would have got on my wick.0 -
