Uh-oh, poor you and poor kids!
Try Ebay?? Maybe some kids have multiple ones and are selling to people in your position?0 -
Sainsburys had a few yesterday, might be worth ringing them in case.“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0

Although maybe not, just seen the prices!!!!
I bought this in the £1 shop for my son.

Think out of the box. Go to the 'Range'. They do a little wooden toy train that has numbered drawer compartments. Put a chocolate or 2 in each box. Hey presto an interesting advent calendar that can be used year on year and will only cost you the price of some cheap choccies from here on in. Very MSE in the long runThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

The only shop we have near us is a Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and Tesco. None of these places have any left..aaarrggh!!!
I was thining about trying to make one, but have NO idea where to start. i am not in the slightest bit crafty!0 -
I've got one you can have. Still intact, but I think it might be a couple of years out of date
Seen a few in aldi yesterday
How to make one: buy some small, paper sweet bags and number them. Pop a chocolate or other sweet in and tie a ribbon round the top (an elastic band or staples will do). This is the emergency "how to make" option0 -
Good luck and don't worry you are the third person I know this has happen to. My friend said the same yesterday (she managed to find one) and tonight ds was looking forward to seeing his Dad as he told him he would get him a calendar, he forgot (apparently he tried two places yesterday with no luck.
If you can't find one, you could make your own, put a few sweets or bits in envelopes with the date written on the front of them in a big box so they have to search through for the correct day.0 -
Oh Lordy..my poor children
i might just have to hide 24 gold choc coins and get them to hunt for them daily. Give them a small clue to follow?
What a cop out!
They are 10 and 14..i am NEVER going to live this down!0
