Today is an indoor day as its throwing it down. Kiddies are already driving each other bonkers, will set them up with a game shortly.

Decided today i MUST address DH business expenses - a lot of insurances due for renewal, need to speak to broker to get best possible deal. As his drawings from business form the bulk of our OPs keeping costs low is crucial.

Listed one thing on ebay yesterday - will do some more today.

Done loads of housework this morning as well as some work for DH business. Emails sent. re renewing liability insurance (will pay in full this year rather than DD) and also to accountant.

Had a vague recollection from last years accounts that the Revenue would need to repay some money to us, found the emails and turns out my memory serves me well. He had such a bad year last year with non-payment issues we were permanently overdrawn so if we have any tax at all to pay I will be mightily perplexed. Accountant generally ok but I did challenge him on something last year and turns out I was right (and I am no way au fait with accountancy based stuff). Will pore over accounts this year to make sure no similar errors.

Also just paid nearly £1k to HMRC for PAYE/NI. Humph. DH business is tiny, but he gets no tax breaks at all and if it weren't for the fact that we are super strict and super organised we could easily have gone under many times. Mr Taxman takes so much from us, it makes me laugh when the Chancellor talks about "helping" small businesses..

Money didn't show for DH business and Music magpie, chasers sent on both don't these people realise I have savings targets!

The one (and only :o) item I listed on eBay was a buy it now and it sold for £10 straight away so will shuffle that over. This week is going to be fairly spendy as DH off work :j so we have planned a few days out. Given that we're not going abroad this year and the rest of our summer hols activities are cheap/free I won't get too bothered by some spending. It's also DDs 5th birthday this week :) she's having riding lessons as a present, she will get enough 'stuff' from all the relatives!

    Thanks Hun :)

Well I am sat typing this in the hairdressers so not exactly the most MFW post! I've had my hair lightened again (think Daenerys from GoT) and I blimmin love it. It's been an age since I've had the time and inclination to spend more time on my appearance (two kids in two years put paid to much grooming!) so in my mind it's money well
    Spent.

Still no money from DH customer, have been assured it will be tomorrow so here's hoping, then I can update properly xx

48p Tilly Tidy made, and the usual mortgage payment has gone out so around £360 knocked off the capital balance.

DH customer promises money by lunchtime, we shall see....

Celebrating DH having a day off work by going to M&S Cafe for brekkie :o I can't remember the last time we did something like that on a whim, and we don't have the kiddies today either, so it will be rather pleasant I think!

    Have great days x
