Just booked a decent deal for Bellagio for 5 nights.

After months of insistance from Mrs WestHamDaz that she really wanted to stay at the Mirage this time she has just woken me up to tell me she's seen a good price on the Bellagio through lowcostusa.

5 nights at Bellagio, INCLUDING resort fee for £370 compared to $680 for the same nights at Mirage before they whack in the resort fee soon made her change her mind and ditch the mirage reservation

Yes well as I said before the lovely young man at check in in Paris returned our $20 dollars and said there is no need for this and he still upgraded us, and we had two $20 for two rooms as we had our kids with us. And yes the breakfast buffet is amazing.
Thinking of booking the Hilton following Ferfs comments although some reviews say the place needs updating a bit. I guess it is July and over a weekend.

Just stayed in Harrahs for a week before moving to Aria for the second week, I thought Harrahs was a bit tatty and carpet a bit grubby, not top of my list of hotels to stay in again, we have now stayed in 14 total and would prefer Bally's or Bills for a cheaper option.

I've never stayed in the Harrahs hotel, but when we went in June I found the casino to be rather dirty and tired. The least said about the casino toilets, the better, BUT, they were easily the worst I've been into on the Strip. They were so bad, I couldn't use them. It's a pity really, because I used to like it in there, and it's a shame that standards seem to have really slipped.

Not sure I understand what you're looking for -you are looking for cheap on Strip but Bills and the Flamingo aren't on the list but the Venetian is ???
lol, yeah i was clear as mud :D

The out-laws recently stayed in Bills and weren't happy with the rooms (though they had just come from Carriage House so were no doubt suffering from "Downgrade Depression")

Flamingo I am semi-tempted by but the rates for a GO room are $80 + tax, which left me a bit unsure of how that was in the grand scheme of things? - never really been in there casino either to be honest... (or any on that stretch ie. Imperial Palace, Harrahs etc)

Venetian is just on the 'wish list' for at some point - I doubt it will be this trip unless a good offer comes along! - in fact all of the ones I listed were based on the slim hope that a good offer came along for them!

    I suppose I should contemplate Bally's too...

TBH, i'm willing to give anything a go... it's the missus that is fussy! :(

What about Signature nvh? I know most are not to fussed about it but we love the place. We'd love to try Cosmo as well but were the same the type of room I want isnt going to be happening unless I sacrifice nights and thats defo not going to be happening! :)

    Finally booked our honeymoon yesterday.

I probably should have had this booked months ago considering we are going in May. Its fair to says I had a budget of £2500 for this trip. I know its a lot of money but its what I had set aside for our honeymoon - besides its a one off event, I hope :D

Decided to stay at the PH Towers, the rooms look amazing and the fact there is no resort fee is nice. I got 11 nights in a 1 bed suite for £1200 which I am pretty happy with, there wasn't too much differnce between a studio room and the suite, its within my budget and compared to some other places, that was cheap I think.

My flights set me back £1030 with AA from Dublin, 1 stop in Chicago and then onto Las Vegas. Pretty resonable layover times aswell, only a few hours of waiting, was shocked to see some layovers of upto 10 hours and costing more. Proves to read and double check.

Found this thread really helpful, especially the guide at the beginning. Just need to find all the things we want to do now :)

Hi , I have also noticed LowcostUSA is offering some of the best rates. I was a little concerned however as I notice they send the hotel voucher two weeks before the visit . Is this practice normal ? I guess this does wonders for their cashflow but is the booking safe, I would hate to get caught up in a Crown Currrency debacle. Thoughts please. Thanks

Quite a few people have used them, haven't heard any bad reports. Do they take full payment on booking?
