    Pay day today! Yay!

Received £1705 pay and £120 expenses.

Transferred £1000 to the ISA for the kitchen finance, bringing that up to £4000 of the £6720 we need in February.
Transferred £344 to the joint account for household bills.
Made a mortgage overpayment of £53.95.
Set aside £79 for personal bills.
Set aside £300 for outstanding nursery fees.

That leaves me with £195 to cover essential spending until OH gets paid in about week-ish. Whatever is left over (which should be most of it) we will decide what are the most pressing spending / saving priorities to put it towards. We have the house insurance due just before Christmas as well as a trip to London to see OH family and, of course, Christmas itself.

    MUST KEEP MSE HEAD ON!

Hi PBS, Have subscribed to your diary.
Well done on progress so far, :T It amazes me what people can do when they put their minds to it. I'm still working on OH as he is yet to embrace the full debt paying, frugal living, money saving plan, but I'm working on it. Mrs T

Thanks Mrs T. For many years when we were first together OH was the money savvy one. It took much nagging from him until I finally had my LBM, but now we work well together on it.

So keep at it, you never know what will be the thing that finally make his light bulb come on!

Yesterday was a NSD, so £0 spent by me and OH. GOOD! My new driving licence arrived and my 3 penalty points have expired! GOOD! This will make our renewal cheaper in March. My NHS physio appointment arrived for next week. GOOD!

Today I wrote a cheque for the £300 nursery fees (budgeted) and I need to post my expense for work. I have listed 2 items for sale, one on ebay and one on facebook. I aim to do one more listing and then that'll take me up to the 5 that I aimed for last Saturday. The two that I listed then but have lots of watchers but not actual bids - come on people buy our crap!

OH is currently tidying the garage. This is an overdue job and I am really grateful that he is tackling it before he goes away tomorrow. Oh yes, OH is going to the US for 9 nights tomorrow :( It's for work so I can't complain. I will miss him a lot and it will be a struggle here without him. He does most of the childcare at home and manages to make it look easy. When he is away we never seem to make the school bus on time, the dog is always grumpy and me, well I guess I'm a bit lonely.

The overall house decluttering is going well, I hope we can squeeze in a charity shop run and a tip run today and then I'll pretty much be set up with a tidy house, for the next week!

Sold the two items I listed on ebay last week; one for £122 and the other for £100 so that is £200 after fees and no postage as they are both collection items. Also sold the item I listed on Facebook yesterday for £25, minus £1.05 paypal fee, but no postage either as I am using the free code for parcels from the main MSE site, a saving of £8! :)

So, that take the 'extra money made' in November to a respectable £293.41, with the interest from the bank accounts still to be added tomorrow. The total for extra money made in 2014 stands at £883.

I've signed up to the 'Make £10 a day in December' challenge thread, but for only £5 a day, so that is a target of £155 to make. I'll be cashing out some Swagbucks and earning cashback for the house insurance but still leave over £100 to make. Must get my thinking cap on...
