NO. But you read the current threads on the forum, not this old one.

I've been reading the responses re -Parking Eye charges & was wondering if anyone can help.

I've had one before & ignored it &it went away, now my daughter has received one & have done the same with usual responses back saying bailiffs, county court judgements etc. & again I have ignored it

This time though they have gone one further by sending me a claim form from the County County Bulk Centre, Northampton. There a claim no & Parking Eye is the claimant, bt 2 things make me suspicious, one is you make the payment to Parking Eye & not the court & secondly is says it is signed by a solicitor but the name is printed.

My question is do I pay this or not?

    Kind regards

Bleeding heck mon, you've posted this on a pre pofa 2012 thread, and you have a claim form from the courts, and you are asking what to do ? I suggest the first thing is create your own thread otherwise this will probably not be responded to

Would have been best to start a new thread this will get lost here!

However you have two choices now pay it or defend it!

There wont be a real signature as the claim is made online. However you can check it is genuine by going online there should be a password with the claim pack, to enable you to log on.

@chrisada21. You say you've been reading responses here, how come you missed the advice given in posts #25, 26, 28, 29, 31 and 32 immediately before your own post #33?

As I said in post #31:
Please read the post immediately before yours, then please read my signature, at the foot of this post, and you'll have all the information you need at this stage .
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hello,

I have read with great interest the posts about 'Parking Eye', I have received a Parking Charge Notice, for the sum of £100 but if paid within 14 days the sum will be reduced to £60, it displays pictures of my car entering and leaving the car park.
I was 30 minutes over my stated time of the first 'free' Hour. making my total time in the car park 1 hr 30 minutes.

I am the type of person that worries about anything like this to the point that it plays on my mind all the time.

Should I continue to follow everyone else's practices/advice and Ignore the letter?

If someone could assist me, I would be so grateful, it says I have to pay before the 21st Sept 2013 or my fine will increase to £100.

    Kind Regards,
    FlyingG.

    Start a new thread please

    1 - It's not a fine
2 - Easiest way to deal with Parking Eye is to do a soft appeal, get a POPLA code and hit POPLA with a hard appeal.
3 - Complain to the landowner

(It's a shame this forum doesn't support automatic thread locking once a thread hasn't been posted in after X days)
