SS did you say you had a virgin card?? (As in the branson fellow  )
Have applied for one tonight online wondered if they are a good bet or not..are they fussy?? :D

Not a Virgin one but have got an MBNA one!

I'm very tempted to stick with low life of balance cards for the forseeable (sp)future!

Was an interesting point brought up by someone else. Most cards require a 2% transfer fee. If you do this with 2 cards a year (2 x 0% for 6 months) that is 4% apr! Now say you get stuck like I have with not being able to switch a couple of grand you then get hit by say 12% apr. If you pay interest for one month you then knock up the fee to 5% apr!

With a low life of balance card you could get 4.9%! Saves a lot of stress and worry!

This only counts obviously if you are unable to clear the 0% card in the interest free period! :D

Ouch! My Morgan Stanley is 5.9% for life I think! Have you tried asking them for a more competitive rate?

If they refuse tell them you have been accepted for the 0% (provided you have) and you are going to transfer all the balance if they don't offer you something better!

Then do the same with Barclaycard! ;)
