Thanks DFD and US - sometimes it's hard to talk to my friends and family about this; I don't want to worry them and I also don't want to bring them down when they've either had a wonderful year (getting married / engaged / pregnant) or they're also struggling.. and them same goes for you - if you need to talk I'm here.

Hi Mumoffourkids :hello: I'm very much a planner and I can't survive without my to-do lists! Although they get completed very often :rotfl:

Boy did I run out of time yesterday:

    - PAD Already done
    - Low Spend Day - I'm meeting up with a friend for a cuppa and she bought the last one The cheeky so and so paid while I was in the loo so it ended up being a NSD
    - Find a video of me singing which I need for a role submission Can't find it grrr, need to search again
    - Update performance CV Not done
    - Send off submission Nope
    - Start sorting music for wedding next Friday Not that either
    - Arrange when I can pick up boxes in storage Need to confirm today
    - Gig Done
    - Event Management tonight Done

Yesterday just totally ran away with me, and the only time I had to get online and do some work I had patchy internet access so I'm rather behind!

My flatmates have already started sleeping at their new place which means I have the run of the flat until I move - perfect! I'm picking up all my boxes from my friend's warehouse on Wednesday and because I'm weird I'm really looking forward to emptying them and repacking :D

    Jobs for today:

    - PAD Already done, just a quid today
    - Fuel up car
    - Find video
    - Update acting CV
    - Submit for role
    - Social media posts
    - Email run down of last night's event to boss
    - Confirm time for picking up boxes on Wednesday
    - Sort out music for wedding on Friday
    - Gig (another day, another Christmas party afternoon)
    - Christmas drinks with my old workmates

I'm never going to get all this done :rotfl:

    From yesterday:

    - PAD Done, just a squid
    - Fuel up car Done, €73
    - Find video Done!
    - Update acting CV Done!
    - Submit for role Done!
    - Social media posts Done
    - Email run down of last night's event to boss Done
    - Confirm time for picking up boxes on Wednesday Done
    - Sort out music for wedding on Friday Work in progress
    - Gig (another day, another Christmas party afternoon) Done
    - Christmas drinks with my old workmates Done

Yesterday was brilliant, I got almost everything done and had a great time last night with my ex-colleagues - my old bosses paid for everything and because I hardly drink I was thoroughly tipsy after 2.5 pints :rotfl: so I treated myself to a €10 taxi for the journey home (very decadent!)

My main focus for the next few days is the wedding music. The wedding is on Friday - ceremony music is sorted but they've quite a few song requests for the drinks reception that I need to work on as they're new to me. Today I need to finalise the set list and start manically learn the lyrics!

    To do:

    - PAD Already done, a nice big £167 on the CC
    - NSD (except maybe a cuppa between my gigs today)
    - make packed lunch
    - batch cook stew
    - wedding music
    - two gigs
    - pick up shoes I left at the event on Saturday night :D

    Happy Monday!
    2019 Aim: Save £10,000

    - wedding music Ongoing

Not sleeping too well at the moment, even using all my tactics my brain is going at a hundred miles an hour which I suppose isn't surprising...

The flat is a mess, clean laundry everywhere (at least it's clean!) and I need to hoover and clean the bathroom and kitchen badly.

With that in mind, plan for today:

    - PAD Already done, tenner on the CC
    - Tidy up laundry
    - Laundry
    - Tidy bedroom
    - Clean bedroom
    - Clean bathroom
    - Clean kitchen
    - Keep working on wedding music
    - Gig (2.5 hours away )
    - Dinner with friend
    - Update finances and recalculate savings/ payments

    Best get cracking!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thank Uncanny, it was a lovely (if emotional) day. A productive morning and a great gig followed by meeting up with my wonderful friend and a tear-filled goodbye...

    - PAD Done
    - Tidy up laundry Done
    - Laundry Done
    - Tidy bedroom Done
    - Clean bedroom Done
    - Clean bathroom Done
    - Clean kitchen Done
    - Keep working on wedding music Work in progress
    - Gig (2.5 hours away) Done
    - Dinner with friend Done
    - Update finances and recalculate savings/ payments Done

Spent a grand total of €3.40 on milk, bread and teabags - my friend treated me to dinner as I always drive the nearly two hours to hers (I really don't mind as I'm up and down the country all the time but she insisted). Finances and savings are still looking ok, but there was a whole bunch of costs I hadn't accounted for so it'll be around £2300 before business set up costs, the biggest upside is that the credit card will be paid off in full.

    Jobs for tomorrow:

    - PAD
    - Pick up boxes
    - Buy Christmas cards for family
    - Banking
    - Pick up cheque from client
    - Gig
    - Break the back of this blooming wedding music!
    - Hoover
    - Clean out car
    - Try and sort storage!
    - Invoices for final clients

So not a lot then :D

Ok, so I didn't get the hoovering done but the boxes are open and I've started looking through all my carp. Plan is to call my mum tomorrow morning so we can figure out what kitchen duplicates we have and what can go into the flat. I'm going to tip them all out and repack everything - I'd love to say I'll have a good clear out but I don't see that happening :rotfl:

Long day tomorrow - two gigs with several hours driving, in addition to a bunch of work- and home-based jobs.

    Plan for tomorrow:

    - PAD
    - Fill up car (again!)
    - Finish up working on wedding music
    - Send off final invoices
    - Hoover? ("Oh, how she laughed...")
    - Sort out kitchen gear
    - Laundry
    - Make packed lunch
    - Two gigs

I'm going to do my best to last until 9.00pm before I head to bed, but I'm not promising anything!

    I am pooped!

    - PAD Done, £3 on the cc
    - Fill up car (again!) Done
    - Finish up working on wedding music Done!
    - Send off final invoices Done
    - Hoover? ("Oh, how she laughed...") Nope
    - Sort out kitchen gear After speaking to Mum, I'll sort it next week after checking her kitchen out
    - Laundry I didn't have full load of lights or darks so this will have to wait until Saturday
    - Make packed lunch Done
    - Two gigs Done

I've been feeling a lot more confident today, like I might have turned a corner in my mood :) and I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. The wedding couple I'm singing for have been great and I love singing in both big churches and five star hotels (I'm doing both the ceremony and drinks reception)! Then I'm on my first Friday night out in about 10 months - I'm so excited! No idea what I'm wearing but seeing as I can fit into all my old dresses again I'll have a nice choice. It'll be a bit spendy as I'm going out for dinner as well as drinks, feeling fancy!!

No time for errands tomorrow other than my PAD; the wedding and night out will be my entire day. PJs are on and I'm going to bed with an episode of The Crown.

    Have a great Friday! xx
