I would like to join this year please! I have a pot ready and waiting, any and ALL spare change is going in. I'll use cash as much as possible & then accrue even more change that would just get lost in the abyss - either down the back of the sofa or in DHs pocket!! Also any extra left over from each months various budgets will go straight in.

I've already written the open date in my 2018 planner! Here's to a great challenge! :D

    Morning potterssssssssssss!

Took the uncle in to town yesterday and there was a man walking along behind us and he was CHINKING!! I looked at DH with wide eyes and went 'do you think he'd mind if I tackled him to the ground? i'd give him notes in exchange?!?!' DH just looked at me and went 'don't you dare!' I was JOKING! . . . . kinda :o :rotfl:

Uncle paid for my shopping at Wilko, when I tried to pay him back, he took the £5er and told me to keep the coins :D (he knows me so well!) so 2 x £1 coins in the pot :D

    May i join?
I'm actually saving my change to go towards my wedding,
I hope we get married sometime in 2020 but would love to see how much we/I can save in change
    ready for the big day.

I'm creating a personalized shadow box saving frame with our names on, the date we got engaged
and will be putting little plastic diamonds in the bottom so when we open it it's like a celebration.
I'm going to decorate the outside with diamontes and craft pearls around it. I thought it'll be nice for a keepsake and will drive us to actually think about getting married.

I'm just waiting for the fancy letter stickers to come before I insert money & start on it.
when i finished the frame, could i post the final product here in a picture?

Welcome to the thread adventureofmemories our lovely leader Sue will be along soon with a number for you.
For now, have a read through the first post and get potting!

I’ve potted a wonderful 1p the boyfriend gave me from his change from the charity shop book haul!
Question: I’m using last years potted money for Christmas presents. Once I’ve spent up, can I re-pot my leftover cash for this years pot?
