I bet you’re not the only Sealed Pot member who’s eyes light up 👀 when folk jingle past you, jakes-mum, though I doubt there are many of us apart from you who would be almost literally wanting to pounce on the poor chap!!!! :rotfl:
What a wonderful and very thoughtful Uncle your DH has, bless him!
BTW I thought perhaps young Lily was getting better, so sorry to hear she’s been really rough poor little darling. I hope she’s soon much better.
Now Sue! Men need to learn that they are asking for trouble with jingling trousers! :rotfl:
I was hoping Miss Lily was getting better but she took a very nasty turn for the worse that ended with a rush to out of hours with suspected Scarlett Fever  Thankfully it isn't, she just has one of the nastiest viruses to raise its head this year and it has completely knocked her for six but hurrah! she ate today :j ok it was a pain au chocolat, sausage roll and cheesestring for lunch but that was 10x more than she's eaten since sunday and she even had an attempt at some dinner, so hopefully this is her finally coming out the other side. But bless her, her poor little nose is like a tap and red enough to light the way for Father ChristmasSo far she has got through 4 full sized boxes of tissues since sunday
In potting news, my mum took me to my hospital appointment so I thought it was only fair I take her to our little independent coffee shop and buy her a cappuchinoalso got Dh one and me a hot chocolate
and the lovely lady gave me 2 x £2 coins in my change
This is why I support local! They look after my pots

Well, I'm sure you've all had a very busy week and are sooo looking forward to the weekend!!! :j Have a great one whatever you do. It really is lovely to see so many new members joining us in the chit chat.
To all those our members who are poorly or low in any way at all, here are some loving {{{{hugs}}}} to help you get you feeling much better soon! :grinheartDebtFreeDuo wrote: »I want it to be a complete surprise when I open my pot but I can feel myself trying to make a mental note of how much I've added, must stop doing this.
Excellent potting again DebtFreeDuo!! You’re doing extremely well for certain. Don’t worry too much about making a mental note of the amount that you’ve potted each time, I’m sure you’ll find that as the year goes on you’ll have a job to keep up with that; however, if you’re still bothered by it, don’t count it fully before potting, then tell us what you think you’ve roughly potted.
It’s great to see you again Lucy, and as you say, you’re up and running again! :j Very well potted!!
Oh dear Frogletina, what are we to do with you! Why didn’t you leave the notes in the tin and keep the coins in the other? Too easy eh!!!!
Friends of ours told us yesterday about the £10ers in March.... more ruddy monopoly money as DH refers to it!!!
Great work motivated, and although your pot still has the emptyish feel it’ll soon get that lovely ring tone! The harder you pot the faster it’ll happen!!! :j
I’m glad you’re pleased with your No, arc2014, just like the others it too was abandoned so needed a good home! :grinheart How about popping the £70 in a “holding pot” for a couple of weeks then if your DH still hasn’t noticed - pot it!!!!!Well, it's still saving it for you both!!!! :rotfl:
Well done Florence, it’s soon going to mount up!!
YAY you’re home 32b3!!!!! :j :hello: Get yourself plenty of sleep to get your inner clock back to normal. I hope you’ve had a truly amazing time and weather!! Great potting btw!!!
Very well done Chutney!!!
A fresh potting year, a new pot and you’re away, Dragon Lily!!! I guess you’re now going to make it a cover!!! :rotfl:
Yes, our own men jakes-Mum, but all tothers are out of bounds!!
I’m so pleased little Lily is slowly recovering, I hate to see poorly little ones, but they do bounce back quickly that’s one thing with kiddies and illnesses. Good on your potting front!!!!
Very well done Meena!!! It’s always good to hear members have their Nos on their siggys!!!!
Yes, everyone’s doing really well siju, you too with a cracking £8 in yours!!!! You have a great weekend too!A healthy £15 in the pot for DGH & I this week too!Have a fantastic weekend SPCers!!! Pot well if it’s possible!

Oooohhh,how lovely adventureofmemories.I love it :j.
Potted £2 coin this afternoon (I think it is my first for this year's challenge).
I was also going to pot a 50p coin (first roadkill in aaaaages) yesterday, but then I noticed it was a Squirrel Nutkin one,so there is a chance that if I pot it,next year I will forget, and accidentally bank it.I think it is worth holding onto.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

It's the odd 40p, 20p etc. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -
I don't think it matters at all Nicnak, I just write it here to keep myself motivated and its only thanks to some sales on eBay that I've potted anything at all.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0
