This in not funny been waiting 1hr 30 mins now for my boost code. Had email confirmation straight away. But no code to use.

And TM yes my internet is doing all sorts of funny things tonight, closing pages down, not starting IE, not opening emails. And really slow can see the letters of links coming up one by one as if in slow motion as is my typing.

Anyone know if the Staples deals will be online or if it's instore only? There's a chair I need because mine is appalling and it's apparently down to £69 tomorrow...

At sada today the lady (and I use the word loosely) on CS desk I had an

item to return but I had receipt ...should be a breeze I thought (wrong)

You used a coupon on here ... Don't think we can give you back the coupon

amount you spent ...me erm why is that since I spent more than the

    coupon value ?

Her arrr yes you did you paid with a card though

    Me Did I ?

    Her. Yes you did

Have you got that card ...
Me Yes I will have let me look see which card I paid it on
    Ie visa or MasterCard etc

Her No it's a store card

    Me which store?

Her well an asda one I presume have you got it

Me no it was all used up I think

Her Well it has to go back on that card

Me well you don't keep cards that have no more money left on them

Her well that's the rules and it has to go back on that card you paid with

Me taking another asda card out of my bag that had money on

And said well just put it back on there then

Her NO it has to be the card you PAID with that's the rules

So you want me to keep a card that is empty in case I need to return something though all your check out girls and boys always say the cards empty shall I bin it for you

Her ok I will do it this time but do remember that the rule is it has to be put back on the card

What ever side of the bed she got out of this morning I hope she was alone

No one deserves to share a bed with the ogre cs " she devil "

    Crikey, this thread moves quickly!

I was called by my good friend Zag to answer this question. In Library Land, we'd buy something like these, but only to handle really delicate items:

    http://www.gresswell.co.uk/book-care-archival/archival-accessories/disposable-cotton-gloves.html

Gresswell is a specialist supplier to libraries.

Hello zag's friend are you musical too. :D

    Evening all.

    Hope everyone is OK.

Are we all set for Black Friday? I want a new laptop and a new tablet, but I am not sure what's going to be a good deal or not. I might just wait until the after Xmas sale and buy then instead of randomly picking something tomorrow.

Hope everyone has had a fab day.

Went to the gym and weighed myself and have almost lost a stone with man flu! Woop. Woop.

Went to morries earlier to use a couple of vouchers. The SA had to manually input the sun vouchers but it was fine, and both shops had a little under £5 worth of F&V

I've been peeling onions all evening for pickling :rotfl:
