Thanks for the chart Fred. Sorry to be a pain, but my total loss is wrong. I've just checked back on the wii and I was 15st 9 on 31st Dec, and I'm 14st 8 now, so that's 15 lbs - I think it's a bit out because I didn't declare my holiday gain :o.

Thinking about it, my loss is pretty rubbish! 15 lbs in 7 months  I've lost twice that without even trying before!

    MUST TRY HARDER!!!

Congratulations to all of the other SOTWs

Welcome to the thread Lola, it is perfect timing - new thread, new month, new challenges!

Oh, forgot to add - 40 mins exercise tonight. Should have done more but I'm trying to get to bed a bit earlier each night (really need to start getting more sleep!) and I don't think that exercising at this time is really helping!

Damn you all! I thought 3lbs was sure SoTW winner this week but now I've got to share the accolades with 4 others! Must be the heat helping us sweat it all out. :rotfl:

Tonight we had a piece of steamed trout with a side of this thing I found a recipe for but can't find again. It was steamed broccoli with some fried red peppers, mixed together with some grated cheddar, creme fraiche and seasoning, then you stick it in a gratin bowl and put some more cheese on top, then whack it in the oven for half an hour. VERY tasty.

I'm also excited because one of my favourite meals is pasta with peppers, onions and goats cheese mixed through it, but not allowed pasta anymore :( SO I am going to make another crustless quiche, and this time I am going to put peppers, onions and goats cheese in it! Hope it works...

Actually, are peppers bad? I feel like they are. Damn.
  • Hi fredsnail, 49 mins on the treadmill today, it says I used 244 calories but not sure how accurate that is.
I have a cat and a dog could you please put me in for either team.
I don't get weighed until tomorrow so I will let you know how I get on, but I've had the munchies all week. Not been eating wrong foods just possibly too many good ones!:p
Well done on everyones fab results this week.:T:T:T

    Hey Fred!

Thanks for the SOTW accolade but I can't really claim it to be fair as my loss quoted was over two weeks (one week on holiday) :o and anyway I could do without the paparazzi camping outside the door again this week :rotfl:

Add 30 mins to my exercise time please Run 2 Week 3 C25K

On the Pet challenge can you add me to the DOG team please, also can I be picky, looking at my total lost for the year I must of started at the wrong weight can that be changed to 19lbs

    Many thanks
    Occy

      Hello,

I've been reading this thread for a while now and a new thread seems a good time to join in. I find the posts interesting and encouraging.

I estimate that I need to lose about 2 stones in weight but to be honest I don't have a set weight goal but instead I have a pair of trousers sitting in the back of the wardrobe that I'd like to fit into again!

I am loosely following the old weight watchers diet with increased exercise. I picked the WW because I find it easy to follow and I think if done properly it encourages me to make healthier choices - notably, reduce portion sizes and cut out chocolate! I'm afraid I am an unashamed carbophile but have cut my carbs significantly (as part of portion control) - you could have fed an extended family with the amount of pasta I once put into my pasta bakes! I'm starting to plateau a bit so I might think about cutting carbs a little more, and if really necessary they'll go but I'm hoping it won't come to that ;)

      welcome :j

gratz to all the super losers

and for us STS's dont worry about, control what you can today, do not live in the past :)
