Tesco Clubcard fraud - online vouchers stolen

Although this has never happen too me, I recently placed an order on-line when my order was delivered they had replaced key items with other products, I therefore refused the whole order. They said a refund would be paid in five days that was ten days ago and still not been refunded. Customer Service is rubbish so I have decided not to shop there again. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem.0

My account was hacked too. I found out because an order was made and then cancelled within a minute.
Luckily for us though, Tesco had updated their system by this point (October 31st) and the hacker would only be able to print off our vouchers if they had our clubcard number which it seems they didn't have.0 -

Just logged in to my account to see the £10 I had in vouchers has been used, only a small amount I know but was saving towards a Christmas present. Really strange thing is there a second clubcard on my account which was used on the same day when I had a home delivery, shows used in the store which supplied my delivery. Seems very dodgy to me now!
I can't see whether there is another email address linked, only details I can see are mine, but I have changed the password and yet not received an email to confirm it. Can't even call them today so will have to see what they say tomorrow, will be interesting to hear them explain the second clubcard...0 -
Ive been waiting for mine to be credited since August. They have not added them in my nov mailing either
they are closed today so I sent this email - after reading your post I'm even angrier at the prospect of waiting 3 more months to get my money back. What if they dont appear in the Feb mailing? will I be playing this cat & mouse game for the forseeable future?:mad::mad:
Following my last post, and after hubby rang them up again we are still waiting for a callback a few weeks on. :mad:Missye

The 'second' clubcard would be the one on your dot.com account - easy to check, just click on 'my account' in 'Food' or 'Direct' and click on 'manage my clubcard' and it will show the last four no's.
Hence it will show a transaction with the same date as your delivery at the store it was delivered from.
Have you checked where the £10.00 was used ??I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Following the theft of my Clubcard vouchers by online fraud Tesco were very coy about what they told me so I wrote to the CEO and today got the following reply, in which they suggest that the passwords were stolen on a different site:
Thank you for your email to Philip Clarke, our Chief Executive, to which I have been asked to reply.
I am sorry to learn that someone has accessed your Clubcard account, and has spent the majority of your vouchers. I hope you can accept my sincere apologies for the upset this matter has caused you.
Earlier this year our security systems identified some irregular activity connected to a small proportion of Clubcard accounts. We immediately referred the matter to the police and their investigation is on-going.
While the police investigation is still underway, we have concluded our own investigation. We now believe that customer email addresses and passwords were fraudulently obtained from somewhere other than Tesco and then attempted on Clubcard accounts where in some cases these login details matched. We know that many people use the same email address and password combinations on a number of different websites, and our investigations suggested this was the problem. We are confident that the security of our website was not breached, nor were our security systems compromised.
We are committed to ensuring that none of our customers miss out as a result of this and our Clubcard customer service team are here to help. We remind all of our customers to always use different passwords to be as secure as possible online, and to contact us if they have any questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, we are unable to reissue your vouchers prior to our next Clubcard mailing in February, however if you do need to use your voucher ahead of this time, we are happy to arrange for the equivalent value to be sent to you on a Tesco Moneycard. This will allow you to redeem the balance in store or on our Tesco Direct website. Alternatively, if you were looking to redeem your vouchers against one of our Clubcard Boost (the new name for Clubcard Rewards and Clubcard Exchange), if you would like to provide me with the details of what you would like to book, we can arrange for this to be processed electronically, deducting the equivalent number of points from your account.
Thank you for taking the time to contact the Chief Executive and I look forward to hearing from you shortly.IF THIS POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL - PLEASE CLICK ON THANKS :j0 -
I think that reply from the ceo's office is rubbish. They are just trying to pretend that it wasn't an inside job when it is clear that it was.0

Thank you so much for explaining that about the second clubcard. I have had 2 replies from Tesco customer care and neither of them have told me that. Quite a simple thing to explain as you have demonstrated. Yes the number does correspond then.
The £10 was apparently used in the clubcard boost. I received no emails regarding an order.0
