I thought it was common knowledge that they offered people stupidly low prices for their cars?0

Quote from Richard Harrison, chief operating officer of the company, said: "In the early days, we were operating a new business and defining a new market sector and we did not get it right for every single customer.
So in fact they actually got it wrong for virtually every customer !
Talk about spinning the facts0 -
Huh? So it's still ok to quote a figure they have no intention of giving you when you turn up? All they have to do is put a warning on the web site? Sounds like a completely toothless ruling to me.Make clear the website valuation is not the price the company is offering and that a range of other factors might be considered0 -
This really doesn't suprise me at all.....
Thier website prices are rubbish as it is, my OH's car was quoted at being worth £900 in ex. condition, in reality it had a dent in the door I imagine they would have easily knocked another £100 off for that if not more.... He got £1400 for it at the garage, dents and allMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Is there, in fact, any evidence that they "got it right" for any married customer?

Technically the spokesman is right - they didn't get it right for every single customer. They got it right for about 2 in every 100. Vote with your feet people!

WBAC specialise in "Chipping". That is the agents are told to chip away at the offered price for anything and everything - scratch on door £500 to repair etc etc. Then having chipped you they probably won't repair the scratch or get a SMART repairer to fix it for £40.The man without a signature.0
