Good morning:)
A lovely sunny day here - we're off to the hospital to get dd1's braces fitted...oh joy:o DD2 is going swimming with my ex-bro in law and my nieces, they're staying with him so he asked if my dd wants to go - much better than sitting at the hospital waiting for her.
Sold my other mobile overnight - £95, wooohooo:beer: So will get that sent off later - means driving to the town 10mins away as our PO shut on wed afternoon, but she's paying such a lot of money I don't mind;)
£3.60 and £21 arrived in account from Quidco and Paypal this morning - both amounts moved to the girls clubs accounts. I'll have to pay Guides £20, Cheerleading about £50 in Sept, and in Oct gym is due - £94:eek: Think that account has nearly enough already to cover it.
Ok, better get this pair moving:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Well done on the phones Milly :T
Will be thinking of ds when she has her braces fitted, lots of ice-cream to follow
Mortgage Total: £49,992/ £75,000

Lovely and sunny here too, hope it lasts (at least until after I've been for my run
)
Do you leave the SIM cards in the mobiles? Or do you just delete everything that's on the phone? Sorry for so many questions....
Hope everything goes well at the hospital today

I don't leave the sims in, yes I delete everything, just restore it to the way it was when you buy it.
Home from the hospital now - it wasn't as traumatic as last week;) But, bless her, she doesn't like the look of them in, says they don't suit her - I'm trying to convince her she's just not used to them and they look fine, cos they do...but poor thing, I can imagine how she feels:oI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Ha, you're joking?!! He's still paying off the girls school trips - dd2 went in June and dd1 in mid-July...he still owes £75. Then he owes half of all the uniform...then onto the clubs. He only gives me £200 maintenance...not much for 2 of them really. So at the end of Aug he'll have paid off the trips....Sept and Oct will no doubt be 2 installments of uniform money....pathetic really isn't it?!:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yes ....and yes milly. What does he spend his money on?
I don't know how men's consciences work but it certainly isn't the same as women's
I have no contact with my DD's dad, I had to go through the dreaded CSA to get any money and even then he denied paternity and we had to have paternity tests to prove she was his. To date they have never met (his choice, I wouldn't have stopped him) and I am supposed to get the money weekly and that doesn't always happen (the last 2 payments haven't gone in). If I was him I would always be wondering about her.....
Anyway, you sound like you have things sussed moneywise. Just look on it as a bonus when (if?) the money does finally turn up and treat yourself to something. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

No idea...he's hopeless with money though, just fritters it away. He did have loads of credit card debt after he left so must still be paying off that.
He's always dressed in designer gear so I reckon there's where money goes. Hopeless;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Good morning:)
Tax credits in today so have shuffled money around - some to grocery float for next month's grocery money, some to spending account. My grocery account was on £20...arghhh:o So moved £10 from spending account as I bought a few extra bits - pens, socks. SO will see if I can make £30 last until the end of next week. I put money each week in my grocery float account, ready for the following month and I seem to have the full month's £220 in the float already - so next Thurs will have a lovely £275 for Sept...must be a 5 week month for me (I put £55 from TCs each week into grocery float). So I might be able to 'borrow' from September's grocery money - as £275 will be a lot for Sept.
On my own this weekend as girls with their dad, so won't buy anything extra - plenty in the freezer I can have. Monday we're hopefully off for the day to Crealy with my sis so will need picnic stuff, but that's ok.
DD2 and I are nipping in to town this morning to get some felt for the sock ceatures:rotfl: I have a school skirt to swap in M+S and a Next directory return, nothing exciting.
Ok, better go get my face on;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
