Also sold another item on ebay - a badge making kit of the girls that I was going to just sling out...£10:T Must post that along with the trousers sold the other day.

Nice one! I am going to have a good sort through DDs stuff that she's never played with. I have 3 days off when she goes back to school (a complete error by me, I didn't realise she was going back on 2 september :o) so i will put that time to good use and have a really good sort through the house....and hopefully make some money :T

Yayyyyyy presentations have been done - passed both, one 63 and one 58 - very happy with that:beer::beer:
So, quiet day at home with the girls today. We're going to do some cooking - dd2 wants to make sausage rolls, do my hair highlights and dd2 will pinch some no doubt:o Also we're going to make sock monkeys...did dd1's with her last week, dd2 wants to do hers, well it's a sock owl hers!! DD1 wants to make another monkey with more socks i got in Tesco sale;)
What else - must post 2 parcels, washing is done and on the line, need to hoover downstairs and tidy up a bit.

I'm just so pleased the presentations are done - speaking like that scares the life out of me. I did get flustered at one point but managed to keep going and not get lost:o (I definitely looked like that little pink smiley by the end of it he he)

Girls sat here in pjs, must chase them off to get dressed:)

Had a lovely afternoon with the girls sitting making sock owls:rotfl: It was using a kit I bought dd2 and dd1 still had stuffing left from her sock monkey, so we used some nice new socks from Tesco sale to make her owl - she's taking her time, still sewing. We watched a few films too as we sewed, lovely and quiet it was;)

This afternoon the old ipod I had for sale on ebay has sold - £25 BIN, so I've posted it along with the other 2 things - made about £50 this week on ebay, fab:T

Off to do my highlights, with dd2 pinching some too.

    Good morning:)
Girls still asleep, I'm up and showered, hair washed and straightened, tidied up...think I can put the hoover on now, they've slept long enough;)

We're off to my sister's later today as tomorrow it's the day out at the balloon fiesta in Bristol. Weather looks a bit iffy right now...fingers crossed for a dry day:p Have paid for the parking online, which was £6 instead of £10 on the day. Will take a picnic too but no doubt will still cost a few pennies while we're there.

Coming home tomorrow evening as dd1 is off to show her cheerleading skills with a pal and the cheer coach at a 6yr old birthday party on Sunday morning.

On Monday girls and I are meeting sis and her girls in Bristol for some shopping and lunch, lovely:)

Off to hoover now and get the place cleaned up:D

Well, didn't get to the balloon fiesta on Sat as the weather was so awful...actually we ddi get there, parked and stood in the rain, then decided to leave:rotfl: DD2 stayed with my sis, I had to come home as DD1 was doing a acheerleading kids party yesterday. SO my sis and her lot got to the balloons yesterday so at least dd2 got there in the end!

DD1 and I are off to meet my sis and the girls in Bristol today...do a bit of shopping and have lunch. Need to get both of my 2 some school shoes, oh joy:o

So in the end I had a cheap weekend - I bought dd1 and I a takeaway when we got in on Saturday, but not spent anything else. Will give my sis some money as she took dd2 to the balloon and bought her dinner on Sat night.

Lovely sunny day here....so different from Saturday, typical. ANyway, must go and chase dd1, lazy monkey.

    Goooood morning if anyone reading:D
Just enjoying a coffee in the peace, girls still asleep.
We had a good day out yesterday, but I am absolutely shattered....it really takes it out of me walking about, I forget that:o Hopefully one day I won't be so easily worn out...it's annoying.

Didn't spend an excessive amount - I bought us all lunch at £5 each, a cardi each for the girls which were £11. DD1 bought herself a lovely hoodie, I also got them cheap jegging things in Primark and a vest for dd2, £1.50;) For me - 2 pairs of sandals for £2 each, will keep one pair for next year:rotfl:

We're going to have a lazy day at home - girls bought some more socks so they can make more sock monkey/owls. I bought the kits from a website of a shop in Cornwall, photocopied the templates so we can make more and bought a huuuuge bag of stuffing from ebay for £2. Was a lovely thing to do....and very relaxing, the 3 of us sat sewing:T

I need to nip to Tesco for a few bits today - mostly things for dd2 after her brace is fitted tomorrow:o Custard, ice cream, yogurt, soup...bless her, hope she gets on better than last week:) My grocery account balance is on about £46 for the rest of the month...eeek:eek: I can see me going over, but I know I am spending more with it being holidays.

Also....I have a 5k word essay to do asap.....argghhhh:eek: Need to start the reading so I know what I'm going to be writing about...might help:rotfl:

    Me too, I'm still reading.:)

What a lovely lot of bargains you've got...I just love Primark.

Your sock thing has given me an idea for the holidays too. I'm off for 2 weeks from next week and the weather reports have been BAD. I need things like that to keep us busy while we're indoors seeing as our DVD player has just given up the ghost
