Hello all,
I am a bit new as a poster on MSE so I'm not sure about the etiquette on posting in caps here (some boards greatly frown upon this). However, on discovering this today I was blown away:
Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones Mobile-Blue: £35.69
http://www.mobile-blue.com/shure-sound-isolating-earphones-p-233.html?osCsid=a85650dfef4d11f9a732bbbf52007671
Shure E4c Sound Isolating Earphones Amazon: £150.80
http://www.amazon.co.uk/E4c-Sound-Isolating-Musicians-Earphones/dp/B0001MPZB6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1203772770&sr=8-1
There must be a catch right?
UPDATE 29 March 2008: The site linked above is a suspected scam site. After a poster on this thread contacted Shure to report the site, the site took down all it's (presumably fake) Shure products.
DO NOT BUY FROM MOBILE-BLUE.COM

Yeah the catch is you don't know if they're genuine and there's nothing you can do if they aren't except make a paypal claim. Seems like a scam site to me.
Based in china
No address
Paypal only
No experience reported anywhere as far as I've searched"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Phew! Glad I posted here. Thought it was too good to be true. Just as a matter of interest does anyone have any advice on another matter I have. I bought some Shure e2c earphones from Amazon 1 Nov 2007 and one half of the casing of the left earphone dropped off and went missing. Does anyone have any experience in returning items to Shure?
Thanks for your help.0 -
hahaha I'm having a similar problem with amazon at the moment. The cable has split and trust me this isn't through neglect - amazons response - 'If it's ouside of 30 days it's not our problem'. What about the sale of goods act I ask - 'oh that just means you can claim for up to 6 years'. Well we'll see0

totally irrelevant - it's the retailers responsibility, that and they're about a week outside their year waranty. Haven't even used them that much as was abroad for 3 months.0

i don't know if they're fake - i would be very surprised if they were fake.
You can't just sell fake headphones. Why not try getting the e2c for £18 and see. If they're genuine i'd bet the others will be.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
