Go to www.dell.com (making sure it takes you to the UK version of their site...) and enter "N0115011" into the search box.
Click on the result, this will then bring up the configuration screen.
To get the £310 price, you need to:
Knock the warranty down to: "Base Warranty - 1 Year Business Hardware Support [subtract £139.83]"
= £346
UPgrade the Hard Drive to: "160GB (5400RPM) SATA Hard Drive [add £23.50 or £1/month]"
= £370 (don't worry, the price will come good...)
Now leave all the other options the same, and proceed through the next 2 scrrens, then choose add to basket.
Bingo, the price is now £310inc VAT & P&P because of the discounts/offers.
This is probably the best offer I've seen on Dell's site in recent times, so they probably won't last long. Don't forget Quidco for 5%

hi ordered on of these less than 2 weeks ago, got it on friday the 11th of jan. It never worked properly and I contacted dell on the 14th. They have agreed to collect this laptop at the same time as i get a replacement for it.
Can I now cancel this order and then re-order at the current price, since my laptop is in production??
Advice needed please.0 -
As posted on UK Hot Deals earlier today.

athlete76. You may find you ordered a vostro 1000 two weeks ago as they were listed on Uk Hot Deals by MikeT on 1/1/08. This is a new different offer, being a vostro 1500 model.

nope, it was the exact same model as above, vostro 1500. Mike T missed this one!
Do I have a leg to stand on, if I want to cancel, since the original internet purchase was faulty??0 -
I don't see why not, if it was faulty.
Good Luck.
Out of interest, what did they charge for the similar laptop two weeks ago?0 -
£356 before quidco, but only 120 gig hard drive. I thought it was a great deal then...doh!0

You need to add extras, like the 160 gb hard drive to get free shipping. The thread on hotdeals gives all the info. You also need to add the item to your basket before the free shipping kicks in.0
