  • dont do claton!! lol, anyone reccomend any good locations on this deal
  • I strongly recommend Hopton on the Norfolk Coast, it is a British Holidays Park, part of Haven and it is excellent, with its own beach, and lots of own amusements and entertainments there.

Ruda holiday park in Croyde Bay, Devon.

Excellent park, caravans very well kept and lovely beach!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • sorry - new to the newspaper thing - what do you need to collect? we go to club ruda every year and have paid the full price - I hope this will make it cheaper.

Its usually 6 tokens, then its £9 each (minimum of four, so if only 2 people are going you still have to pay for 4)

They do charge extra for linen and entertainment passes (neither of which we paid for when we went and still got the linen in the caravan and got into the bar)

Edit: Forgot to add, these are short breaks and not a full week so you can go monday to friday or friday to monday.

Done this a couple of times and found both times I got my last choice venue on my next to last choice dates despite sending in vouchers at earliest time. The headline figure is always good at £9 but you do need to remember the extras can soon turn this into £150 for a family of 5
  • When you book online you get the entertainment passes included along with linen. I booked at weekend for 12 march for filey and it was £77 for 4 nights. Last year we collected the sun vouchers and it came to £102. Great prices online right now. We could have booked a 2 bed or 3 bed superior caravan for up to 8 people at would have just been £77 - BARGAIN
  • there are parks where entertainment passes are free so if you look out for these you can keep the price down a lot :)
