British Gas - New Web site

House.co.uk is now being re-directed to Britishgas.co.uk. I haven't been able to get into my account on house.co.uk the last couple of tries and can't log in to the new site yet to see what has changed. Let's hope they haven't messed too much up!

    Got into my account on the new BG site using House.co.uk logon but the site then forces you to register and confirm a new password and use your registered email address to login and not your user name .

    I only get electricity from BG (price protection 2010 ) but there is someone elses gas account details below my electric account !

    Another BG cockup !

    UPDATE !

    Got a delayed email confirmation of updated logon .

    Email states (For security reasons we have not shown your entire password). but the whole password is displayed in the email .

    Lousey security BG !

    My account is only showing the fas account not the electric one. But it is the electric one I really need to see.

    Finally got in!
    Log in from the main page still gave no joy, had to go in through the registration page, click on existing user and forced to change password! Same experience as shammyjack - got a confirmation email with user ID and full password in it! Also I've got some gas details too even though I'm electricity only. What are they playing at?
    Shame they didn't send their customers an email telling them the web site address has changed before pulling the link on the old one!

    It obviously isn't loaded yet with all the data. I finally got logged in.

    One gas account is missing completely(I have 2)

    On an electricity account it correctly shows a credit sum on the summary page(for the last bill in April), but trying to look at that bill it states "we have no financial transactions recorded on this account"

    Their last system(House.co.Uk) was the worst I have encountered. I hope this one will be better - early signs are not promising.

    God help us when someone cuts off the leccy ;)

    Don't forget re BG, it is a weekend, and that is usually when web changes are made.

    At least they are at last doing more than just acknowledging the ongoing problems with their site, management revamp next? ;)

    They have listed all competitors prices, but I gave up trying to find the latest BG prices for gas and electric.

    When I tried to get in, I was told that my email address was incorrect (which it wasn't) so I can't access my account at all. What do I do now?? Another good one BG!!:mad:

    Got the same problem here. Called BG, and the lady I spoke to told me to also try with password "welcome", and eventually said she would get it resolved and call me back shortly - guess what, no call back. Moving to Powergen now anyway.

    I found them pretty quickly... navigate to the 'product' you want the prices for and click 'rates' on the left hand menu.
