MSE subscribed threads not working, help please

As far as I'm concerned, this is technical. Is anyone else experiencing an absence of identification ticks to the thread page. Whenever I make a post, normall a tick is shown on the main thread page. This I have found to be extremely usefull in that one can easily pick up posts to see if anything requires a reply.

Of late, whether I've started the post or merely contributed, the tick is missing. There are notes withing the site from Moderators stating that because of recent updates, there might be gremlins and to PM the moderator concerned is anything is noticed. I have done that, but my comment has gone either un-noticed or ignored or whatever.

Maybe the ticks have gone for everyone, in which case fine. I would appreciate if somebody would enlighten me. I do not recall changing any of my users features incidently. I await with keen interest a reply to this.

Yes I have noticed this for about a week or so. The ticks are still present on older threads.

thankyou thankyou thankyou. At last recognition. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has noticed and even more so if there is an explanation forthcoming.

Ive not been getting notification of subscribed threads either, sometimes not at all or sometimes very late. Also noticed they've been shutting down forums lately for "minor glitches". Not sure if these are linked at all but just thought I'd put my two peneth in. He he. Are they updating the site, as in Martin letting us have a look at what it look like, just thought little glitches might be linked to that???

I suppose I'd better add that this isn't meant as any form of critisism, merely an observation.

Being an elderly non-technical kinda guy with nothing much else to do (ha ha) I spend hours learning how to say money for my old age, lord knows why though as I'm already heading for three score yrs and ten, so I might as well spend what I have. But I can't. Ever since I became hooked on MSE, whenever I can spend a penny instead of tupence, I do.

I'm anxiously waiting to see what advice will be given to those of us who are currently with Staywarm and feel we should be moving. I reckon my £80.40 per month is now too much. Hey, I must not digress.

I had noticed the missing ticks but as with the missing avatars a while back I decided to just wait and see.

if you check HERE and make sure DO not subscribe is not showing in the Default Thread Subscription Mode.

May have been reset when they did one of the updates. chose which option you require, i.e no email etc

I can confirm that in the Default Thread Subscription Mode the Do not subscribe IS showing. and as yet, I've had no reply from the moderator.

Ok ive reset the default to show No Email notification, however, I still note that the forum tick that indicates I have posted in a forum is still not displaying, what should I change the default to to re-enable it.
