Anyone claiming against these? Had a look thru the pages & couldnt see a thread for it.
I'm only claiming back £79 & they have written back after my first letter saying how charges were applied in line with T&C's blah blah..
Just wondered if anyone knew where to send the next letter? Is it the address on their last letter?
Thanks

I am claiming back £300 from Tesco personal finance. Have just received a letter saying that they won't pay me anything because when I signed for the card I was agreeing to their terms etc.
Has anyone else had trouble with these. I don't know whether to send off my letter stating court action.:mad:0 -
standard fob off letter... just follow the process and issue your court claim, an unlawful charge is an unlawful charge...

hi i need some help with a credit card interest payments. i just got my tesco statement for this month. i missed off £3.60 off my last payment. i always pay the bill in full. the total amount was for over £1700. they are charging me £31.39 in interest. because the full amount was'nt paid they are charging me interest for the £1700 as well. is this legal? am i allowed to just pay the interest on the £3.60 or do i have to pay the full £31.39.0

From https://www.tescofinance.com
If the account is not fully cleared, interest will be charged on the average daily balance until full payment is made and credited to your account. Therefore, the longer you take to make a payment, the more interest will be charged.
It seems they are within their t&c for what they did. Why did you pay such a small amount short? You could try and appeal to their better nature and say you made a mistake in your payment amount but the practice Tesco are using is common among credit cards.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0 -
