ASDA dvd player under a tenner!!!!

according to press release ASDA have a dvd player for £9.99!!!

The price of the Durabrand DVD player, previously on sale at £17.84, will drop to a staggering £9 from 6am tomorrow morning meaning customers will, for the first time, be able to buy a DVD player for less than the average price of a new release DVD.

    I think you will find that 95% of electronic goods are made by people getting paid similar amounts, the cost difference lies in cheaper components and finishes, hence more expensive = Better looking and lasts longer. While cheap = tacky looking and won't last as long.

    Heh, paid £25 for one of these (pretty much the same, slightly different finish) from Asda a couple of years ago.

    It's rock solid and plays anything I throw at it! :D
