Fresh Mobile
Hi, I am currently an Easymobile customer and see (as they are about to close) they are offering a deal to transfer to Fresh Mobile. The deal looks good as it comes with free airtime, but I can't find detail anywhere on what their minimum call charges are. Also can't find whether they charge by the minute or second. Can anybody help please. If Fresh is not so good anybody got any suggestions on who offers the best deal.... Many thanks.

fresh charge 15p per min with 5p per text, fresh uses the t-mobile network, so check for coverage in your area0

Do you know if the charge is always by a full minute after the first minute, or by the second? With Easymobile calls were charged by the second after the first minute..
Many thanks0 -
If you thinking of moving to Fresh because Easy Mob are closing, consider this.
You must make at least one outbound call in any 90 day period.
For each calendar month in which your spend is below £1.50 you will be charged £0.60. This charge will be deducted from the balance of your account within fourteen working days of the start of the following calendar month. If there is not enough credit on your account, the balance will be deducted when you next Top-Up.
Calls made are charged in one second increments rounded up to the nearest second (provided that total charges will always be rounded up to the nearest whole penny). A minimum charge equal to one minute will apply to all calls made0 -
it always 15p per min ,and surely one phone call every 90 days is not alot to ask,
where did you get your information about the charge if you lose less than £1.50 per month you will be charged 60p, as i`v looked and can`t find any info regarding that0 -
Also, you can not check your balance unless you top up or phone customer services on an 0870 number!!?.I believe you can not see info like call durations online either as easy or virgin do/did......Neil0

Beware, Fresh have a minimum call charge of one minute.
If your not going to use picture messaging or GPRS, try a tesco value sim.
15p per minute and 5p per text

If you need to use roaming, you can change to the standard tariff and back back again, free of charge, I think you give them 48 hours notice.
If you port your number in then they'll give you £5 credit too, if you quote a code when giving your PAC

I think that o2/Tesco have better coverage than Fresh/Easy/T-mobile.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You get a text reminding you when your balance has fallen below £4. Has anyone had problems registering on the website? I can't register to top up on-line, which is rather annoying as they have an offer on at the minute which gives you 10% extra on any amount you top up online.Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.0

Some people only use their mobile lightly so thats why i pointed out the
9O day clause .
Re 60p charge read 1.8 in their T&C

Personally i think Virgin Payg is a better bet OVERALL with its Free VoiceMail ,min call charge 5p etc etc.0 -
Fresh has no roaming or intl call facility. Tesco min charge is 5p and thereafter per second. I like their 3 fav nos for 10p a minute. Their roaming rates are 40p a minute across the board for zone 1 and you can turn off voicemail.
Their SIM isn't free tho' so how do you get the £5 initial credit as mentioned above, I rang and was told it's £7.97 for a SIM and £5 airtime. Is the £5 credit a new offer today? I think you have to make a call every 6 months, a text isn't sufficient. Wonder if someone is going to lower their tariffs to get all the EM customers?0 -
